How teams like yours use their Holvi account
-
Each member of the 12-person crew has their own card with a set limit. The money for each job flows through its own IBAN and business credit covers material costs.
-
The chef and manager both have their own card and save receipts as they pay. With a real-time view on VAT, spend, and income, there’s no risk of surprises.
-
The store manager pays each supplier in their own currency from the same account, without having to jump on a different app for foreign payments.
-
Each of the eight marketers gets their own card for business expenses. The company’s subscriptions and ad spend are billed on dedicated virtual cards.

We review your application and get back to you within 1–3 business days.
The number of IBAN accounts depends on your plan: Holvi Lite includes 2 IBAN accounts, while Holvi Pro includes 5. You can add further accounts for €1 per month each, up to a maximum of 10 accounts per company. Many businesses use separate IBANs to set aside VAT, manage payroll, or track individual projects.
Holvi is not a traditional bank: it’s a licensed payment institution supervised by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN-FSA). Your money is held safely and kept separate from Holvi’s own funds at all times, in line with EU payment services regulation. In practice, you get a Finnish IBAN, payment cards, and everyday banking features, plus invoicing and bookkeeping tools that traditional banks don’t offer.
Yes, and you don’t have to switch overnight. You can open your Holvi account alongside your existing bank account and move payments, invoicing, and cards over at your own pace. You can even connect your other bank accounts to Holvi to see all your business finances in one view while you transition. There’s no cutover day and no downtime for your business.
Yes. Holvi connects directly to Netvisor and Procountor, so your transactions and receipt data flow straight into your bookkeeping software. Your accountant gets clean, ready-to-go data without manual exports or file transfers. If you’d rather outsource bookkeeping entirely, Holvi Zen and Zen+ plans include a professional accounting service.
You can invite your whole team to Holvi and give each person their own payment card and permission level. For example, you can give full account access for a co-founder, spending-only access for employees, or read-only access for your accountant. You set an individual limit for every card, and you see each purchase in real time. The number of cards included depends on your plan, and additional cards are available for a small monthly fee.
Yes. Eligible companies can apply for the Holvi Business Credit Card to cover short-term gaps in cash flow — for example, buying materials before a client invoice is paid. Credit decisions are based on an individual assessment of your business, so offers can’t be guaranteed.
Holvi is a fully digital service, so cash deposits aren’t supported directly. Businesses that handle cash typically deposit it through their existing bank or a cash handling service and transfer it to Holvi via a standard bank transfer, which arrives as an instant or same-day SEPA payment. All card payments, transfers, and online sales flow into your Holvi account as normal.
