Frequently asked about single-entry bookkeeping
If you’re not a Holvi user yet, start by opening an account. Once your account is verified, we’ll ask for the details we need to start your bookkeeping.
If your business is already trading, send us your latest profit and loss statement, and you can move your bookkeeping to Holvi even in the middle of the financial year.
All your business’s money moves through Holvi, and your bookkeeping is based on your Holvi transactions and receipts. You collect payments by invoicing or with a card terminal, and scan the receipts with the Holvi app.
Based on these entries, your single-entry bookkeeping is done monthly by a professional accountant. The service does not include financial statements.
The service is built for sole traders who earn their income by invoicing or through a card terminal. Our users include graphic designers, freelance journalists and personal trainers – sole traders from many different fields. This service isn’t suitable for limited companies, who should instead use Holvi Zen+.
Zen costs a fixed €79/month + VAT. The price includes bookkeeping, filing and paying your taxes, and Holvi’s tools: business account, payment card and invoicing.
Your bookkeeping and tax payments are handled by accountants at the accounting firm Lemon Tree. We built Holvi Zen together with them.
Then Holvi Zen+ is right for you. It’s made for limited companies and sole traders whose business requires double-entry bookkeeping.
Holvi’s customer support can answer most questions during regular working hours. We pass trickier bookkeeping and tax questions through customer support to Lemon Tree’s accountants, who will get back to you with an answer.
